Online Ordering


All DOE school students/parents can utilize Monitor WA's online ordering to order a Non-school concession travel card. Our online order process performs a live validation with the DOE, prior to purchasing. This saves considerable time and money for the students/parents. The Student Concession SmartRider card is then printed and posted (the next business day) directly to the student's home address.

NOTE: All Online orders incur a fee. Initial cards for primary students can be exempt from this charge, only when using a manual application form located here: Student Concession SmartRider Application Form.

Ordering online is a simple and convenient process that saves time for schools and time and money for students/parents.

  1. Your School needs to register for online ordering. Order Form
  2. Order Card
    1. Initial Card - The School orders the initial card for students, complete with photo and other required information.
    2. Replacement Card - The parent orders and pays for the card online. Buy Online Note: this card is a reprint of the student's last card
  3. Monitor WA print and post the card to the school the next business day.
  4. School receives the card and distributes it to the student.

N.B. For schools that use the SmartRider card for other purposes e.g. Photo ID, Attendance, Canteen/Print/Copy/Bus payments (enquire here if you would like information on these), the school will need to order the student's initial card so that we have all required data and an ID photo (if used). All subsequent replacement cards ordered online, will be printed with the same data and photo as the last card ordered by the school. The school's involvement for replacement cards is greatly reduced. To update the student's photo, or any other data printed on the card, the school will still be required to order the card.
