To make obtaining a student SmartRider card as easy as possible for students, parents and schools are able to order student SmartRiders online.

You’ll get the student fare for any journey Monday – Friday during the school year and concession fares on the weekend and during the Christmas school holidays.

You may apply for a Tertiary SmartRider only if you are:

• Enrolled in full-time studies at a Western Australian University or TAFE College
• Attending secondary school in the year you turn 19 or older
• Interstate primary or secondary school student.

There’s nothing wrong with being “standard”. Most of our passengers use this type of SmartRider and take advantage of its savings.
